Vacation times at Arrowhead (NSFW)
This week we have a lighthearted post to let you know that we are still alive, but there’s a well deserved vacation going on at the studio (and indeed all over Sweden – which minimizes your chances of getting anything done for a month). Everyone’s been working so hard this past year (with some still pitching in during summer too and who deserve all the credit) and we really need a bit of rest.
How you know when the employees need vacation
Work never entirely ceases here at Arrowhead, and we keep an eye on the communities whenever we can to make sure you’re all doing fine and nothing is on fire. If you need to get in touch with us, the most reliable way right now is through our email.
When we get back during the second week of August we have quite a few exciting things coming up!
As soon as we can share further information, we’ll give you more details on GAUNTLET: Slayer Edition [Previous posts Here and Here].
With the August launch of Slayer Edition on both PS4 and upgraded free for previous PC owers, it feels great that we finally have Gauntlet too on a console where we think it fits just right.
And of course there are also things going on with Helldivers! We have the upcoming physical retail of HELLDIVERS: Super-Earth Ultimate Edition [Read More] as well as some other secrets which we’re not revealing just yet.
We think that the physical retail release on August 18th will spread the word about Democracy to a lot of new players and we’re eager to see the ranks refilled and the effects of new blood in the upcoming wars.
Summer; when game devs start having their beers in parks
Lastly, during this vacation we’re remaking our webpage entirely to create a modern and enjoyable place for all of you to hang out and find any information you may want about our studio and games. The new webpage is focused on You – the player.
You’ll be offered a number of ways to easily communicate with us, comment on the blog posts and games, download art and goodies, and display your own fan art or cosplay. We’re very excited!
I hope you’re all having a wonderful summer so far. It has been an unusually cold and cloudy summer in Sweden this year, and we’re really longing for some sun and warmth. Then again, remembering what winter can be like, we’re pretty happy with what we can get.
