The day Arrowhead left their computers
That’s right everyone, they finally let us out of our cages. Arrowhead was unleashed upon the world for one night only!
As part of a company team building session, we had the honor of taking part in a fun “Swedish Game Show” in Stockholm’s Old Town, where we were split into four different teams, plied with alcohol and pitted against each other in order to gain the most team points.
- The Game Show took place in a colourfully lit room, complete with podiums, spotlights and strange looking “extras”.
- …Oh, and not to mention our very own Game Show Host!
Preparations got underway, and nobody was sad with beer and friends.
Surprisingly quite a few of the Arrowheads were extremely good at the games, especially when trying to guess obscure pictures made harder by pixelation, and recognising backward songs.
A shout out has to go to Fredrik, who quickly guessed an old-skool picture of Batman and Robin (it turns out he looks at this every night before bed apparently). We were all awestruck and creeped out at the same time.
From time to time the host also threw in a few sneaky screenshots of our own games, but was foiled when it took Jim (a Helldivers artist) an amazing two seconds to guess that it was a picture of a Helldive on a desert planet! Poor Jim, we probably should give him a few days off sometime…
- Some after-game celebration…
- …and “trashtalk”
- Even our usual photographer stuck to a picture
After the fun and games ended we took ourselves off to a bar & restaurant to gorge on a variety of delicious dishes and drinks.
It turned out to be a really fun night, and everyone had a good time.
After a while Malin passed the camera around instead. Que drunken pictures.

It’s really nice to see this :D
Great to see, All I hope is that you will follow the dreams of the company, but also the dreams of the community. All I can say is that ‘Helldivers’ is at the moment my favourite game by far, and probably for a year/s to come. I just wish you keep releasing content for it, and even your other titles, as I know ‘Arrowhead’ can become possibly one day, a AAA title! :D
Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment!
